Ayan Movie Tops Chennai Box Office

Ayan movie starring Surya Sivakumar, Tamanna Bhatia, and Prabhu Ganesan in lead roles was released April 3rd and the movie opened to full houses at all the theatres. The movie collected over 70 lakhs during the first weekend and it topped chennai box office this weekend. The movie initial reviews are positive and experts predict that Ayan might turn out to be the first major hit of 2009.
The film’s distribution rights were sold to Sun Pictures in January 2009. The film’s background score and soundtrack, composed by Harris Jayaraj, released on January 19, 2009. Franz Spilhaus, a stunt team, which worked for Hollywood movies like The Poseidon Adventure and King Solomon’s Mines have choreographed the stunt sequences in this film.
