As per latest Reports from various media sources, Gautham Menon is going to direct Ultimate Star Ajith’s 50th movie which will be produced by Dayanidhi Azhagari. who is the son of Union Minister M.K Azhagiri.
Gautham Menon feels so lucky over cop stories laced with “thrill’ moments that even though his melodramas– “Minnale’, “Vaaranam Aayiram’ have won him laurels, the filmmaker is adhering to tales on cops. Well it indeed is true that he has splendidly tasted success in this genre with “Kaakha Kaakha’ and “Vetaiyaadu Vilayaadu’ turning out to be box-office hits.

The search for the 2nd female lead for Ajith starrer Asal is over. Actress Bhavana has been confirmed to do the 2nd female lead in the film. The shooting of Sivaji Productions Asal directed by Saran will start in Malaysia, from June 2.

Actress Mamta Mohandas whose Guru En Aalu failed at the box office has a reason to smile, because she has been in talks with Director Saran to do a role in Ajith’s Saran. Sources say that Mamta Mohandas has been confirmed but it is yet not clear she will do the second heroine role or will replace Sameera Reddy who was earlier signed to pair up with Ajith in Asal.
The film’s shoot is likely to start soon in Italy with the shooting of a duet song on the lead pair, written by Vairamuthu and composed by Bharadwaj. Director Saran is expected to make an official statement about Mamta inclusion sooner, but it is confirmed that Mamta Mohandas will be part of the film.
