Kanthaswamy Movie Postponed to June

Vikram’s superhero movie Kanthaswamy release date has been once again postponed to June. The movie was about to release on May 29th but now it has been rescheduled to June 12 according to sources. The audio of the film which was to be held on April 26 was also postponed to May 10.

kanthaswamy directed by Susi Ganeasan, produced by Kalaipuli.S Thanu is one of the much awaited Kollywood film of 2009. Vikram acts in the lead role, whilst Shriya Saran, Krishna, Ashish Vidyarthi, Indrajith Sukumaran, Prabhu Ganesan and Vivek also play important roles in the film. The film’s music has been score by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is also to be released as Mallana in Telugu.

The producers of the film are planning to release the film in five languages Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Italian and Spanish. kanthaswamy’s chennai theatrical rights has been purchased by Abirami Ramanathan for a whopping cost of 4.01 crores and Malayalam rights of the movie has been sold for 2 crores.
