Ayan Movie Breaking Box Office Records

Ayan is breaking all collection records in the recent past proving to be the blockbuster hit of 2009. The action flick has set the box office on fire and has emerged as the top grosser among the recent Tamil films. By the end of its run, it is expected to gross in excess of Rs 60 crores. The film has been doing well across all territories, both in the domestic market as well as overseas. The industry expects Ayan to be the third biggest revenue generating Tamil movie raking in about 70% of what Rajinikanth’s Sivaji collected and about 85% of Kamal Hassan’s Dasavatharam, both of which were blockbusters, as reported by Head of distribution at AGS Entertainment.
