Gautham Menon’s New Film With Ajith to start from November

Following the grand success of “Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa’, Gautham Menon is now busy penning the script for his next untitled film, starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role. This untitled film will be produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri of Cloud Nine Productions, who earlier acquired Gautham’s “Vaaranam Aayiram’.

According to the sources, this film seems to be tentatively titled as “Thupariyum Anand’ (Detective Anand) as Ajith Kumar dons the role of a detective officer, who unravels the mystery behind a series of murders in London. As of now, Ajith Kumar is busy preparing himself for the Formula 2 car racing that is slated to commence in the next month. Since the tournament will get over only in September, Gautham and Ajith have decided to start shooting from November. Meanwhile, there were buzzes about Gautham joining hands with music director, Harris Jayaraj, for this film.

But in his recent conversation with a leading news channel, the filmmaker mentioned that A.R. Rahman will be scoring the music as it would assist the promotion of the film internationally. It is worth mentioning that A.R. Rahman’s musical score for “Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa’ had worked out brilliant results.
