The latest buzz around Kollywood is that Simbhu has walked out of K.V. Anand’s “Ko’, he’s reported to have been completely bowled over by the offer of Mani Ratnam. It seems that the veteran filmmaker has approached Silambarasan to perform the lead role in his next project slated to take off by November. Probably, it is expected to be a bilingual film featuring a hot and happening actor of B-town in lead role for the Hindi version. Soundarya Rajinikanth, the younger daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth, is is all set to enter nupitual bliss with an love cum arranged marriage to Ashwin RamKumar, who is the son of Ram Kumar, a well established builder in Chennai.
According to the sources, it is an ‘arranged cum love marriage’!. Soundarya Rajinikanth is getting engaged to Ashwin Kumar, son of Ram Kumar, a real estate tycoon in Chennai. The engagement is said to held on February 17 in her residence and only close friends, relatives will be invited.

Telegu actor Jr NTR is going to get married to Lakshmi Pranati a relative of former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. As per media sources the Jr NTR and Lakshmi Pranati marriage will take place in the month of May.
Lakshmi Pranathi is currently studying in a Nazar college in Hyderabad. Lakshmi Pranati, is the daughter of Narne Srinivas, chairman of Studio N, a Telugu news channel. Srinivas’s wife Mallika is related to the NTR family. TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is said to have taken the matter forward and formalised the ties on behalf of his nephew.
The 27-year-old actor Jr NTR is the son of late N T Rama Rao’s eldest son Harikrishna and Shalini. Pranathi will be major by 26th of March 2010 and Engagement will be held only after 26th of March and marriage will takes place in May this year.

As per latest Reports from various media sources, Gautham Menon is going to direct Ultimate Star Ajith’s 50th movie which will be produced by Dayanidhi Azhagari. who is the son of Union Minister M.K Azhagiri.
Gautham Menon feels so lucky over cop stories laced with “thrill’ moments that even though his melodramas– “Minnale’, “Vaaranam Aayiram’ have won him laurels, the filmmaker is adhering to tales on cops. Well it indeed is true that he has splendidly tasted success in this genre with “Kaakha Kaakha’ and “Vetaiyaadu Vilayaadu’ turning out to be box-office hits.

Indian music maestro A.R Rahman has bagged two awards at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony held at Los Angeles.
The double Oscar winning composer was honoured for his compositions in Danny Boyle’s rags-to-riches film “Slumdog Millionaire”, getting the awards for best compilation soundtrack for a motion picture and “Jai ho” being the best motion picture song. Rahman shares the Grammy with lyricist Gulzar who penned “Jai ho”.
“This is insane, god is great again,” Rahman said as he accepted his second award.
“Jai ho” has been sung by Sukhvinder Singh, Tanvi Shah, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Vijay Prakash and Rahman himself. This is the first time Rahman has been nominated for a Grammy. He joins other Indian music greats like Pandit Ravi Shankar, Zakir Jussain, Vikku Vinayak and Vishvamohan Bhatt who have won a Grammy in the past. Read the rest of this entry »
