Much prior to Vijay’s “Vettaikaran’ hitting the screens, here is great news for the actor and his fans as well. Close sources have confirmed that Sun Pictures has shown keen interest in acquiring the rights of Vijay’s 50th film “Sura’.
“Sura’ features Vijay and Tamanna in the lead roles and is directed by S.P. Rajkumar. The director S.P. Rajkumar is making his comeback in Kollywood taking a sabbatical after “Azhagar Malai’. First schedule of the film was recently completed and the entire crew is busily shooting for the following schedules in Pondicherry and Vizag.
According to the trade reports, “Vettaikaran’ has been sold out for very big price throught Tamilnadu and it has gradually encouraged Sun Pictures to ink a deal with Vijay’s “Sura’ as well.
Now Sura being aquired by Sun Pictures, Vijay has proved that he is still the King of Kollywood Box Office.

Simbu has completely turned his focus from action-packed films to breezy romantic entertainers. As a matter of fact, the actor decided not to take up action-films seeing the disappointing box-office result of his films ‘Kaalai’ and ‘Silambattam’.
The actor has now completed shooting for Gowtham Menon’s ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’, which is slated to hit the screens in January 2010. Earlier, Silambarasan had plans about shooting ‘Poda Podi’ with Sarath Kumar’s daughter Varalakshmi in female lead. Ilayathalapathy Vijay is busy shooting for his upcoming 5oth movie Sura under the direction of Rajkumar. Meanwhile Vijay has signed a movie with Aascar Ravichandran, which will be the Vijay’s 51st film. The movie directed by Jayam Raja will be titled as “Thalapathi” .
Thalapathi[1991] is the title of Rajinikanth-Mammootty blockbuster movie directed by Mani Ratnam. Sources say that the similarity ends with the title. While Thalapath movie dealt with the friendship between two gangsters and the new Vijay movie will be a family entertainer with loads of action.
As per latest buzz Actress Asin has been approached by Vijay to pair with him in Thalapathi. Discussions are going on to finalize the other movie cast and crew, as per sources some of the big names of Tamil industry is going to be roped in. So stay tuned to Vijayfansclub.com for more updates.

Vijay’s mega budget action extravaganza Vettaikaran rights, has now been sold at a new record price for Kerala and Karnataka.
In Kerala the film has been sold at a record price and it is a new record for a Vijay film. Vettaikaran is releasing world wide on December 18 and in kerala alone it is opening in nearly 75 screens.
Vettaikaran features Vijay and Anoushka in lead roles, it is being directed by Babu Sivan. The movie distribution rights have been aquired by Sun pictures and it has started a massive promo on all it channels from December 1st.

The entire town is curiously looking out for Rajnikanth’s magnum opus “Endhiran –The Robot’. The film is under production for past 15 months and probably will take 4 more months to complete. Meanwhile we hear it from closer sources of unit that producers are planning to release the film by March instead of April 2010.
Recently, action oriented sequences between Rajnikanth and cops were filmed at the busiest roads of Kathipara Junction in Chennai.
