Yuganiki Okkadu to release on January 29

Aayirathil Oruvan is being dubbed in to Telugu and titled as ‘Yuganiki Okkadu’ . Yuganiki Okkadu is slated for a release on January 29. Surya’s brother Karthik , Reema Sen and Andrea Jeremiah are doing lead roles in the movie. Dream Valley Corporation banner has produced the movie the film is directed by Selvaraghavan.

‘Yuganiki Okkadu’ is a fantasy adventure film produced with a huge budget of about 40 crores. The film was in the making for about two-and-half years. Music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar.

Dhanush Kutty to release on Pongal

With earlier reports confirmed three big releases for Pongal (Venkat Prabhu’s “Goa’, Selvaraghavan’s “Aayirathil Oruvan’ and Vishal starrer “Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai’), there’s yet another big ticket film, which is joining the league now.

The Dhanush- Shriya Saran starrer “Kutty’ (remake of Telugu movie “Aarya’) is now to be released on Pongal. The film is produced by Gemini Film Circuit and is directed by Jawahar Mithran, who made his debut directorial with “Yaaradi Nee Mohini’.

It’s worth mentioning that Sun Picture had acquired rights over this film and suddenly stepped out of this project. Buzzes are that both Sun Pictures and Gemini Film Circuit had some problems pertaining to their previous production “Ninaithale Inikkum’. Read the rest of this entry »

Aayirathil Oruvan To Release for Pongal

Director Selvaraghavan’s Aayirathil Oruvan has now been confirmed that it will screens for Pongal. The movie has started newspaper advertisement stating that the movie will be an Pongal release.

“Aayirathil Oruvan’ is produced by R. Ravendran of Dream Valley Entertainment with Karthi, Andrea, Reema Sen and Parthiban in lead roles. As per the Selvaraghavan statement the movie CG and graphic work is over. Currently the re-recording work is going on, it will be over in the next two days and then the final mixing will star. Director Arivazhagan’s “Eeram’ turned to be one of the best grosser at the box office and gained appreciations for his spellbinding narration. And now, here’s one more filmmaker gearing up with same genre of “supernatural thriller’.

Maheshwaran and Rosario direct the film titled “Edhuvum Nadakkum’. This film features Karthik Kumar of “Poi Solla Porom’ fame in lead role while debutant Aparna Nair from God’s own country Kerala stars opposite him in female lead.
