Gautham Menon’s romantic Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya with new look Simbu and an uber-cute Trisha set in the beautiful backdrop of Kerala are making waves in Box Office Collections. The movie has collected nearly Rs 3 Crores in Chennai alone and still its running well across all the theaters.

A.R Rahman’s music has turned out to be a chart buster and it is helping the movie to gain more audiences in to theater. The way Gautham narrated this story seems it was his true story and to confirm that there are some similarities to his real life. Like Karthik, Gautham is a mechanical engineering graduate and working as a director and etc. But the director when asked about it refused that the story has nothing to do with his real life.
