Saif Ali Khan says his ambitious production venture “Agent Vinod”, in which he plays the lead role, will be ready for a March 2011 release.
“We will start the shooting in May and will release it in March next year,” Saif told reporters here. He was sporting a rugged look with long tresses and looked dashing in a solid grey suit, white shirt and a red tie.

Mani Ratnam’s Raavan is one of the much expected movie of Indian film industry in recent times. Now as per sources Raavan will hit the Silver Screens world wide on June 18th.
Currently post-production work of the movie is gong on in Chennai. Mani Ratnam intends to debut the movie at Cannes Film Festival on May 14th and therefore is speeding the completion of the film, so that he would have enough moment in time to promote his multi-starrer multi-lingual film. “Ishqiya’ grosses over Rs. 14 crore domestic in just three days. Produced by Shemaroo Entertainment, Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures, India Theatrical and distributed by Boney Kapoor’s BSK Network and Entertainment Private Limited, “Ishqiya’, has grossed over Rs. 14 crore at the domestic box office in the first weekend of its release.
In just three days, the gross box office collections of the film in India have crossed Rs. 15 Crore on 522 screens. Friday morning shows opened with 40-60 percent in key areas like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune , Bangalore and evening settled down to 65-70 percent with average occupancy cultivating first day gross box office of Rs. 3.85 crore, with glowing reviews ranging from 3-4 star ratings and strong word-of-mouth from audience Saturday showed an impressive jump of 25-30 percent and settle down to Rs. 5 Crore, Sunday showed further jump of 30 percent compare to Friday and 8-10 percent compare to Saturday, garnered further Rs. 5.40 crore cultivating to cumulative an astounding opening weekend collection of more than Rs. 14 Crore gross box office. Indian music maestro A.R Rahman has bagged two awards at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony held at Los Angeles.
The double Oscar winning composer was honoured for his compositions in Danny Boyle’s rags-to-riches film “Slumdog Millionaire”, getting the awards for best compilation soundtrack for a motion picture and “Jai ho” being the best motion picture song. Rahman shares the Grammy with lyricist Gulzar who penned “Jai ho”.
“This is insane, god is great again,” Rahman said as he accepted his second award.
“Jai ho” has been sung by Sukhvinder Singh, Tanvi Shah, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Vijay Prakash and Rahman himself. This is the first time Rahman has been nominated for a Grammy. He joins other Indian music greats like Pandit Ravi Shankar, Zakir Jussain, Vikku Vinayak and Vishvamohan Bhatt who have won a Grammy in the past. Read the rest of this entry »
